Customer Reviews
Users generally praise Fishing Points for its good performance, user experience, and comprehensive features like maps, weather, and catch diary. Many find it a valuable tool for preparation and navigation, even offline. However, key concerns include high cost and subscription issues: some users find it too expensive, while others report a misleading free trial that leads to a non-cancelable yearly subscription. Accuracy is divisive—some appreciate accurate navigation, but others note tide data mismatches and 1-2 meter location errors, along with missing depth lines for trolling. Excessive ads (some unclosable) also frustrate users. A few request data export for further analysis. Overall, it's a capable app but with notable drawbacks in pricing, ads, and precision.
