Customer Reviews
Users consistently highlight ThriftBooks' unbeatable prices, vast selection (including rare and out-of-print titles), and user-friendly interface as major strengths. The free shipping perk and rewards program are also well-received. However, shipping speed is a common pain point—many report orders taking weeks, while others praise fast delivery. Book condition is praised for often exceeding expectations, yet some users warn that photos don't match the edition received and descriptions can be inaccurate. Customer service receives mixed feedback: helpful in some cases, unhelpful or dismissive in others. App functionality is generally smooth, but issues with tracking, login errors, and scanning glitches frustrate some users. The buyback program's low value and selective processing are criticized. Overall, ThriftBooks offers great value for budget-conscious readers who don't mind slower shipping or occasional inconsistencies.
