Customer Reviews
Users appreciate CandyJarTV for its engaging short dramas, talented actors, and the availability of free, ad-free content. The app is praised for being family-friendly and easy to use, with some enjoying the LGBTQ+ stories and German-dubbed series. However, major concerns revolve around pricing and content access. Many find the subscription fees excessively high compared to similar services, and the daily unlock limit—often only one very short episode (24–70 seconds) every 24 hours—is seen as restrictive and impractical. Some users report that even after paying for a subscription, they still face unlock barriers or misleading ads about free access. While a few users find the content worth the cost, others describe the app as a scam due to unexpected charges and lack of refunds. The selection of series is limited, with titles repeating, and language support (e.g., German dubbing) is sparse. Overall, opinions are divided: the app offers quality entertainment, but its monetization model and access policies frustrate many.
