Customer Reviews
Users praise the Bible App by Olive Tree for its robust features, including parallel translations, intuitive interface, extensive free devotionals, and reliable cross-device syncing for purchased content. Key strengths: versatility for study (search, notes, bookmarks) and long-term value (purchases remain accessible across OS upgrades). However, stability issues are a major pain point: while many find the app smooth, others report freezes, search failures, and sync problems after updates, especially on tablets. Synchronization works well initially for some, yet others lose reading plans or cannot log in post-2019 update. The app's offline behavior draws mixed feedback: some appreciate uninterrupted access, but others feel their purchased books vanish offline, questioning true ownership. Customization is limited on mobile compared to desktop (e.g., no color options for Jesus' words). Despite this, responsive customer support (quick glitch resolution) and lifetime usability of purchased resources are frequently highlighted. Overall, a powerful study tool with declining reliability for some users.
